Choose Your Friends Wisely

Before social media, you never really had to think about whether not you should be friends with someone based on their tastes in brands, news consumption, religion and anything else under the sun. But now, between Facebook and Google +, not to mention the myriad of other social applications that keep us connected at all times (Twitter, FourSquare), our friends give us unsolicited advice on brands and more, our friends dictate our news consumption, our friends effect our search results. We’re not saying you should ditch the friends that don’t agree with you on all the issues and all your brand choices, but maybe we should be thinking twice before we friend some of those old high school buddies.
